Duolingo is a Free language teaching platform whose main mission is to make learning fun. Duolingo has taken the unique of teaching languages foregoing the trading whiteboard and books. They use interactive exercises such as speaking, converting a sentence from one language to another, interactive images, listening skills, and many more. It can be accessed over a browser as well as Android and iOS devices.

You can also share your progress with your supervisor if there is a language class and you are using your school account.
Main Attraction!
The main attraction is the teaching method which I loved, the interactive method of teaching with images, voices, and most certainly the stories which challenge you with scenarios to learn new words and sentences which you have not yet learned. It also has podcasts that contain rich content for anyone who is interested in listening to stories and understanding the language.
Why did I start using Duolingo?
I was once watching a football match and it was for me the biggest match as it was the qualifiers of LaLiga ( Spanish Football league ). At that time, the commentary was going well as it was in English after a period of time the language of the commentary was changed to an unknown language ( At that time I didn’t know it was Spanish ). I was surprised as I could not understand what the commentator was speaking. I started researching the game and came to know that it was Spanish. I searched every platform from YouTube, Google, Quora and it were all leading me to one single place “ Duolingo “.
There you have it, that is the reason I personally started using Duolingo and since then I believe I have learned Spanish enough to speak and understand; still a long journey ahead!
